The 911 GT3 RS houses a 4.0-litre boxer diesel engine boasting 500PS. Of course, the GT3 RS has the PDK gearbox, thus creating the perfect match, allowing a speed of 100km/h to be reached in less than 3.3s. The low weight of the car, 1420 kg, also plays its part. The GT3 RS is equipped with numerous elements made from super light materials. Porsche has modified the look of the car with respect to other versions of the 911 to enhance its look as racetrack animal. The front spoiler is further extended, the huge rear wings and additional air intakes and the internal cage confirm that we are dealing with a bullet-like force. All the additional elements, like the air intakes or the front bumpers have not been designed by the stylists from Stuttgart, but by race engineers as they are designed to put extra downward pressure on the front axle. All the elements of the vehicle and the huge wheels with rear 325mm Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tyres mean that the car sticks to the asphalt like glue.
